Why Dream Field Farms and Events?

From the beginning, the farm has been about providing a place for families to relax and unwind while making lifetime memories. This philosophy is more important on your dream day than any other day of your life. We offer a place where time stands still and southern hospitality is still in style. Our laid back approach to life translates into a relaxed atmosphere that you and your guests are sure to enjoy. We love celebrating life and want your celebration to be everything you want it to be. We put your needs first when designing the venue and provide plenty of creature comforts to make sure you have everything you need. Hospitality is our gift and what better time to demonstrate full orbed hospitality than on your wedding day. We can’t wait to meet you and be a part of your best day ever!

Dream Field Farms and Events was started in 2008 by Cathy and Tom Ellis. Originally, it was affectionately known as the “Pumpkin Patch” and later in 2018, the new barn was completed and the first weddings were held on site. In 2025, Cathy and Tom sold the wedding business and 94 acres to Kim and Tim Tormey.

Kim had always dreamed of having a wedding venue. When Tim sent her the listing in October of 2024, she replied “Don’t tease me Tim Tormey”. After some due diligence, it became clear that not only was it possible, but the opportunity was
